In 1994 and 1996, a group of legendary Balinese dancers
and musicians, some in their late 80s, came together for
a rare series of performances in Peliatan, Bali. For many
of the performers, this was their first public appearance
in decades, if not generations. Even the Balinese themselves
had believed that many of them were no longer living.

3 Malaysian and 3 Australian photographers journeyed to
each others countries for ten days to document ways
in which multiculturalism manifested itself there. The
result was a travelling exhibition and a book. Book
